Xtreme Media Player Terms of Use
Terms at a Glance
Xtreme Media Player is a local media player. We grant you a personal license to use it; the content you play and edit is yours and your sole responsibility. The app is ad-funded and provided "as is", under Spanish law.
1. Purpose and Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Android
application Xtreme Media Player (package
com.alexlloren.xtrememediaplayer.app), developed by
Allcorex (Spain). By downloading, installing or using the app, you
declare that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not
agree with them, do not use the application.
2. License to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the application solely for playing and managing multimedia content on your own device. This license does not transfer any intellectual property rights in the software.
3. User Content and Responsibility
- Your files: the app plays content stored on your device. You are solely responsible for the legality, origin and licensing of the files you play or manage with the application.
- Tag editor: the metadata editing feature (title, artist, album, cover art) writes directly to your files. Although the app always asks for your confirmation before writing changes, we recommend keeping backups of your files. We are not liable for loss or corruption arising from use of the editor.
- Prohibited uses: do not use the application to infringe copyright or to distribute unlawful content.
4. Advertising
The application is free and funded through third-party ads served by Google AdMob. Ad content is the sole responsibility of the advertisers and the ad network; we do not endorse or accept liability for the advertised products or services. In the EEA and the UK you can manage advertising consent inside the app (see the Privacy Policy).
5. Third-Party Services and Links
Some optional features query third-party services such as Deezer, MusicBrainz, Cover Art Archive, Apple's iTunes Search API or YouTube Music searches. These services:
- Are governed by their own terms of use and privacy policies, independent from us.
- We do not guarantee their availability, continuity or results; the app may stop offering them if the third party changes or withdraws its service.
- The results (cover art, purchase links, metadata) belong to their respective owners.
6. Intellectual Property and Prohibited Uses
The application, its code, design, trademark and documentation are owned by Allcorex or its licensors. To the extent permitted by law, it is prohibited to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile or extract the application's source code.
- Redistribute, resell or publish the APK outside the official distribution channels.
- Any unauthorized commercial use of the application or its trademark.
7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The application is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including —but not limited to— warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, continuous availability or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Spanish law, we shall not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, loss of profits or damages arising from the use or inability to use the application. Nothing in these terms limits the non-waivable rights you hold as a consumer under current regulations.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall fall under the courts of the consumer's domicile as required by mandatory applicable regulations (LOPDGDD/GDPR and LGDCU). If you act as a consumer residing outside Spain, no right granted to you by the laws of your country of residence shall be deemed affected.
9. Contact and Effective Date
For any questions about these terms, write to contact@allcorex.com.
These terms are effective as of September 28, 2026 and may be updated at this same URL. The applicable version is the one published at the time of consultation.
